Inspiring all to Belong, Believe, Bear Fruit
The Resurrection Way is our whole-school approach to behaviour, relationships and personal development. It provides a clear and consistent framework that supports pupils to be Ready, Respectful, Safe and Kind in all aspects of school life.
Through the Resurrection Way, pupils understand what positive behaviour looks like and why it matters. Expectations are explicitly taught, modelled by adults and reinforced consistently across the school. This helps pupils to regulate their behaviour, engage positively with learning and contribute to a calm, orderly environment.
We use the Resurrection Way to support pupils in making good choices and reflecting on poor choices. When behaviour falls below expectations, staff use restorative conversations and reflection time to help pupils understand the impact of their actions, take responsibility and repair relationships. This approach supports pupils’ emotional development while maintaining high standards of behaviour.
By embedding the values of being Ready, Respectful, Safe and Kind, the Resurrection Way promotes inclusion, respect for difference and positive relationships. It plays a key role in ensuring pupils feel safe, valued and supported, enabling them to thrive academically, socially and personally.
